The aim of the following pages is to provide an illustration of the various layers within the Graphical Process Designer.
The first page provides an explanation of the task and link types that go to make up the visualised process represented by A Process Map.
The second page demonstrates the levels of functionality incorporated in the various Task icons on the process map.
The third page shows the various types of Links used on the process map.
Lastly, the final page illustrates another method of defining the constituent building blocks of a process using the Process Reference function.
Navigation between the pages is achieved by clicking on the links in the menu bar to the left.
On each page, further detail and explanation is obtained by clicking on the object of interest.
In addition, the task icons seen on the process map may be customised. To toggle between the default icons
and an example of a customised set, click on the
button
and the
button respectively.
The process illustrated is a simplified example of a process to control and regulate the purchases within a typical company.
